🛫 What Is a CPL?

A Commercial Pilot License allows you to act as pilot-in-command of an aircraft for compensation or hire. It builds on your foundational skills and prepares you for real-world commercial flying operations under both visual (VFR) and instrument (IFR) conditions.

Course Overview

Our CPL training program is designed to develop safe, skilled, and confident commercial pilots. You'll receive both in-depth ground training and advanced flight instruction.

Ground School (250+ hours):

  • Advanced navigation & meteorology
  • Air law & regulations
  • Aircraft systems & performance
  • Human factors & crew resource management
  • Operational procedures
  • Flight planning and loading

Flight Training (Minimum 150–200 hours total time):

  • Complex aircraft operations
  • Cross-country commercial navigation
  • Night flying (if not previously completed)
  • Advanced maneuvers and emergency procedures
  • Instrument flight practice (if IR not yet obtained)

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum age: 16 to begin training, 17 to be licensed
  • Class 2 medical certificate
  • English proficiency
  • Basic mathematics and physics knowledge recommended

Prerequisites

  • Hold a Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Class 1 medical certificate
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Completed required flight hours (e.g., 150–200 hours total time depending on authority)
  • Passed required written/theoretical knowledge exams
